I have a bundt pan and a dream...

Stuffed Chocolate Bundt Cake

This recipe is another from the Tasty app. It is supposed to be a cream egg bundt cake, but as it turns out you can't find the damned things anywhere after easter. You can find other eggs and chocolate products, so go crazy. I made this one with Oreo and M&M eggs and a Cadbury Oreo chocolate glaze.*

Ingredients:

250g self raising flour

300g caster sugar

150g cocoa powder

300g butter at room temperature

5 eggs

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 bags M&M eggs

2 bags Oreo eggs

200g Cadbury Oreo chocolate bar

Instructions:

Preheat an oven to 180˚C/350˚F and grease and flour a bundt cake pan

Apart from the chocolate, put all ingredients into a bowl and mix to combine

Spread 1/3-1/2 of the batter evenly around the bottom of the cake tin

Arrange eggs and chocolates around

Cover with remaining batter and smooth over

Bake for c. 35 minutes until it passes the clean knife test

Let cool 20 minutes in the pan and then unmould to cool completely

Make the glaze

In a double boiler, melt the Cadbury chocolate Oreo bar

You will have to break up bits of Oreo as it melts

Cover the cake with the glaze, and let it set

Tastes like diabetes

*These are the chocolates I used to fill the cake. I only ended up needing 2 bags of each, but I took the photograph before I realised this.
