It sounded weird and different, so I went with it.

Pumpkin Bread with Pecans and Chocolate Chips
This recipe comes from a Breakfast cookbook by someone called Fern Green. I bought it four years ago because I went into a bookstore to lurk and use the bathroom. This recipe makes 2 loaves, I've added more chocolate.
Ingredients:
300g pumpkin puree
350g vegetable oil
4 eggs at room temperature
150g packed dark brown sugar
150g caster sugar
450g plain flour
2 tsp ground cinnamon
pinch salt
1 tsp baking soda
200g milk chocolate chips
100g chopped pecans
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 180˚C and grease and flour two 8" x 4" loaf pans
Or one, and plan to reuse it, or whatever size you have and it'll be fine
Beat together the eggs, sugars, pumpkin and oil until combined
Stir in the dry ingredients, then the chocolate chips and pecans
Pour into prepared tin, and bake 60-70 minutes until it passes the clean knife test

Let cool c.10 minutes before removing and allowing to cool completely

It was good, different but good.
